Additional costs may arise depending on the shipping company and the import regulations of each country.

Below are a few examples of specific costs some customers may come across: 


GST / SST

  • Australia GST
  • New Zealand GST

Shipping Company Fees

  • Japan Post: Export Clearance Fee
  • FedEx:  Delivery Area Surcharge / Special Delivery Fees (See below)
  • UPS: Extended Area Surcharge 


FedEx Special Handling Fees

The "Special Delivery Fee"  is an additional fee which is applied to shipments by FedEx which meet certain conditions.

Please see the details of charges that may be applied below:


  • Peak Surcharge: 270 yen per kg
  • Actual Weight: 3,390 yen for over package over 31 kg
  • Packaging other than cardboard (e.g. wood): 3,390 yen
  • Dimensions Charge: 3,390 yen

* Charged when any of the following conditions are met:

- Longest side is over 121 cm

- Second-longest side is over 76 cm

- Length and girth are over 266 cm (L + (W + H) × 2)

  • Long Items over 157cm: 22,300 yen  
  • Oversize Dimension: 8,800 yen 

* Charged when either of the following conditions are met:

- Freight length and girth (L + (W + H) × 2) are 330 cm or higher

- Length of longest side: greater than 243 cm


* Additionally, there maybe other costs incurred during the purchase of an item, which we will charge at actual cost. 

* If customs duties or related procedures are required in the destination country or region, the customers are required to pay for these locally.
