Second-hand "junk" items

Last Updated:

Junk Items (ジャンク品) refer to products that are so damaged or broken that they are no longer usable as originally intended. These items are typically sold or purchased for display purposes, parts reuse, or with the intention of repairing them.

Junk items are not covered by our product protection plan.

However, in cases of domestic or international loss, a compensation claim may be possible.

Examples of products sold as junk items:

  • Items that do not function or have not been tested for functionality
  • Items with limited functionality
  • Items in extremely poor condition
  • Items with stains, dirt, or scratches that affect usability
  • Items missing essential parts
  • Bundled toys or plastic models sold without their original packaging
